NDMA predicts rain, snowfall in hilly areas of Pakistan

The National Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) predicted that a Western rainy system accompanied by winds will enter Pakistan from today and will end on December 18, 2025, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to details, the Eastern and Western parts of the mountainous region will also receive rain and snowfall.
The Western and Eastern parts of Balochistan will also likely receive light rain and snowfall. The National Disaster Management Authority also issued an advisory in this regard.
Earlier, the NDMA predicted that another rain-producing system would enter the country from December 19.
Under the impact of the system, there will be drizzle in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, while rain and snow in the northern areas of the country.
It is necessary to mention here that the Northern parts of the country are currently in the grip of bitterly cold weather, while on the other hand, the Met Office has forecast two spells of rain and snowfall for Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), upper KP, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
