International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi will pay a two-day visit to Pakistan, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, the IAEA DG will land in Pakistan tomorrow (February 15).
During his two-day visit, he will hold high-level meetings and undertake visits to different institutions employing nuclear technology in the fields of health, agriculture, industry and power generation, it added.
The FO said the visit will provide an opportunity for Pakistan and the IAEA to explore avenues for further strengthening their ongoing cooperation in the area of peaceful applications of nuclear technology for the socio-economic development of the country.
