Bollywood film, Sanam Tere Kasam starring celebrated Pakistani star Mawra Hocane and popular Indian actor Harshvardhan Rane, has made history by achieving huge success in just one week with its theatrical re-release in Hindi cinemas. The film, going instant hit, nine years after its official release, has luckily become the top priority of fans, surpassing its initial earnings by collecting more than Rs 26.50 crore in just six days.
It is surely the best wedding gift for actress Mawra who has tied the knot lately with the love of his life Ameer Gilani!
Film directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru have expressed great admiration for Mawra Hocane over her sheer dedication and commitment to the work during the movie.
In a video clip making rounds on social media, Radhika Rao can be spotted revealing how struggling it was for Mawra to perform a certain scene with an original dead fish during the set of the show. Saying: “We arranged an original dead fish to perform a scene for Mawra and it was so difficult for her to shoot. She was vomiting throughout the day while filming the scene and nobody was even aware of it.”
Taking to their Instagram handle, showbiz stars Anil Kapoor and Vidya Balan have also congratulated the whole team of the movie on bagging great success with appreciating notes.
After watching the movie in the cinema, Vidya Balan took to her Instagram handle and shared the official poster of the film with adding: “Enjoyed watching this simple love story in the theatre! Congrats to #Mawra #HarshvardhanRane. Mawra Aap Kamal ho.”
Bollywood star Anil Kapoor also took his social media and dedicated a sweet note to the team which reads: “Congratulations to @deepakmukut and the entire Sanam Teri Kasam team on its re-release! The film has already won hearts and its success is truly well-earned.” He also tagged Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane and others on the post and wished everyone involved 'even more milestones ahead!'
