A heated exchange involving renowned singer and philanthropist Abrar-ul-Haq has resurfaced online after being shared by social media page Murtaza Views, drawing attention across digital platforms.

The viral clip captures a tense confrontation between Abrar and a female journalist Safina Khan following a charity event in London.

The disagreement centers on allegations linked to his welfare organization, Sahara for Life Trust, particularly claims circulating online about him allegedly pocketing donation money during a live performance.

In the video, Abrar appears visibly upset as he addresses the journalist, accusing her of misrepresenting facts for views and online traction. The situation unfolds in a crowded hallway, with security personnel and media members attempting to manage the escalating tension.

Responding to the allegation that he put donation money in his pocket during the concert, Abrar explains that a supporter had handed him £5 while he was performing.

He questions whether he was expected to halt the event to deposit the money immediately, dismissing the accusation as an attempt to sensationalize a minor moment.

The confrontation also takes a political turn in parts of the clip, with Abrar alleging bias and linking the criticism to political affiliations.

He strongly defends his integrity and charitable work, stating that his hospital project was built through personal effort and commitment.

Abrar-ul-Haq rose to fame in the mid 1990s with his breakout hit Billo De Ghar, which became a cultural phenomenon in Pakistan.

Known for blending Punjabi folk influences with pop music, he quickly established himself as one of the country’s most recognizable music stars.

Over the years, Abrar expanded his influence beyond entertainment. Through Sahara for Life Trust, he founded and supported healthcare initiatives, including the development of hospitals aimed at providing medical facilities to underserved communities.

His philanthropic work has earned him both praise and scrutiny, particularly due to his public profile and political involvement.

Later both the journalist and Abrar-ul-Haq sorted out the argument. Captioned by Murtaza Views who orginally shared the video: "Journalists Safina khan Irfan Views Uk explain to singer that they were not bring the £5 donation viral video, they accept posting the video but after video made by someone else and posted many times over from the London show. After the initial confusion and argument, all misunderstandings removed."

The resurfaced clip has sparked mixed reactions online. Supporters have defended Abrar’s longstanding charitable contributions, while critics argue that public figures must remain open to scrutiny, especially regarding charitable funds.

Despite the controversy, Abrar-ul-Haq remains a prominent figure whose career spans music, philanthropy, and politics.
