Islamabad High Court (IHC) sought a reply from the Federal Public Service Commission for excluding candidates from the examination, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
During the hearing of the case, the Islamabad High Court directed parties to submit their reply on February 17, 2026.
A petition was filed by a candidate, Mohammad Abu Bakr and other candidates against the Federal Public Service Commission decision.
Advocate Munir Ahmad appeared in the court on behalf of the petitioner. The petitioner stated that despite the issuance of a roll number, the FPSC did not allow him to appear in the examinations.
Advocate Munir Ahmad stated that his client completed all the required which were mentioned in the advertisement on December 7, 2025.
The lawyer of the petitioner said that the CSS examination was scheduled to be held on February 4, 20026. All the candidates were sitting in their chairs for the examination in Lahore.
The lawyer further prayed that his client was not allowed to appear in the English subject paper without any reason.
The petitioner stated that not allowing a candidate to appear in the examination without any reason is a clear violation of the rule and law.
The court issued notices to the parties and sought a reply from them by February 17, 2025.
