Wajid Gillani re-elected IHC Bar president

Syed Wajid Ali Shah Gillani has been re-elected president in the annual elections of the Islamabad High Court Bar Association, according to an official notification issued by the Election Board.

Wajid Gillani secured victory by obtaining 770 votes, defeating his opponent Ashraf Gujjar, who received 761 votes.

In the contest for Additional Secretary, Farzana Faisal Khan emerged successful with 865 votes, while her opponent Palwasha Ayaz Khan managed to secure 644 votes.

For the post of Joint Secretary, Usman Nasir won the election with 939 votes, defeating Wajahat Ghauri, who received 553 votes.

Meanwhile, Rida Batool was elected Finance Secretary after securing 860 votes, while her opponent Syed Salahuddin obtained 625 votes.

Election Board Chief Adil Aziz Qazi along with other members issued the formal notification confirming the election results.
