Pakistan and India will play their Asia Cup matches in Pallekele, Sri Lanka, reported 24NewsHd TV channel Thursday.
The schedule for the Asia Cup will be revealed Friday with sources saying the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is considering two venues as all nine matches on a single ground wouldn't be possible.
Asia Cup is set to be hosted by Pakistan in two phases from August 31 to September 17, the first to take place in Lahore and the second in Sri Lanka.
On the sidelines of the ongoing ICC meeting in Durban, Asia Cup matches venues are in discussion. Pallekele and Dambulla are the potential venues to host the Asia Cup matches, as per sources.
On the other hand, Pakistan could also host Asia Cup matches on more than one venue. Karachi and Rawalpindi can also get hosting rights for matches.
Except for India, all four teams - Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Nepal - will play in Pakistan.
