PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said on Saturday that today the law and the country’s constitution had triumphed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to reporters at Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, he, while commenting on the acquittal of former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in an illegal marriage case by a court in Islamabad, said that all cases filed against Imran were false and fabricated only to politically victimize him.
Barrister Gohar said that the PTI would submit lists of its 41 candidates, including Sher Afzal Marwat, for reserved seats to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) within 15 days. “And seven after the submission of these lists, the election commission will confirm our candidates.”
He informed that all these candidates would submit their affidavits by 11 tonight.
