A wedding celebration turned into a tragedy on Saturday when a vehicle carrying members of a wedding procession met with an accident near the Qila Abdullah district of Balochistan.
The crash claimed three lives, including two children, and left eight others critically injured.
According to rescue officials, the accident occurred when the vehicle, en route as part of the wedding convoy, overturned or collided near Mezai Adda.
However, the precise cause of the accident is yet to be officially confirmed.
The injured were shifted to the trauma center at Mezai Adda for treatment.
Due to the severity of the injuries, the victims were later referred to Quetta for further treatment.
Medical sources confirmed that several of the injured were in serious condition, prompting their urgent transfer by ambulance to Quetta's healthcare facilities.
The names of the deceased and injured have not yet been officially released.
