Five labourers killed in a terrorist attack in Balochistan were laid to rest in their hometowns in Pasrur, Rahim Yar Khan and Narowal as relatives called for the perpetrators to be brought to justice, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Tuesday.
Two of the victims, Muhammad Hassan and Muhammad Qadeer, belonged to Pasrur and were cousins who had travelled to Balochistan for work.
Hassan’s funeral prayers were offered in Haibatpur village, while Qadeer’s funeral was held in Batar Badiana.
Both were buried in their local graveyards after the funeral prayers, which were attended by relatives, residents and other members of the community.
Two other victims belonged to Rahim Yar Khan.
They were identified as 40-year-old Bilal Ghani, a resident of Basti Jatki, and 20-year-old Bilal Qadeer, a resident of Flood Colony.
Ghani’s funeral prayers were offered in Basti Jatki before he was laid to rest in the local graveyard.
He is survived by his wife and 3-year-old daughter, Rabia.
Qadeer’s funeral prayers were held in his native area, where he was later buried.
Both men had been working as labourers in Balochistan for about two years.
The fifth victim, 17-year-old Mohsin Raza, belonged to Ghaziwal Colony in Narowal.
His funeral prayers and burial were held in his hometown and attended by a large number of relatives and local residents.
Raza’s father said his son had worked to support the family and was its only source of financial support.
He appealed to the government to arrest those responsible for the attack and bring them to justice.
