Details of the monthly allowances of Additional Advocate Generals, Assistant Advocate Generals and Federal Law Officers have come to light, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to the documents of Federal Minister of Law, the monthly allowances of Additional Advocate Generals in Sindh are Rs726,000, in Punjab Rs690,000, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rs576,000 and in Balochistan Rs310,400.
The monthly allowance of the Deputy Attorney General in the federation is Rs. 390,000.
The monthly allowance of the Assistant Advocate General in Punjab is Rs570,000.
The monthly allowance of the Assistant Advocate General in Sindh is Rs494,000.
The monthly allowance of the Assistant Advocate General in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is Rs422,000.
The monthly allowance of the Assistant Advocate General in Balochistan is Rs230,000.
The monthly allowance of the Assistant Attorney General in the Federation is Rs240,000.
Further, details of eligibility to become a federal and provincial law officer have been revealed.
In the federation, the Deputy Attorney General must have qualifications equivalent to those of a Supreme Court judge.
In Punjab, the Additional Advocate General must be a Supreme Court lawyer.
In Punjab, the Additional Advocate General must have 10 years of experience in the High Court.
In Sindh, the Additional Advocate General must have at least 7 years of experience in the High Court.
In Balochistan, the Additional Advocate General must have qualifications equivalent to those of a High Court judge.
In Balochistan, the Additional Advocate General must have 3 years of experience as an Assistant Advocate General.
