Punjab Board of Revenue allows manual land records for three months

Punjab Board of Revenue has granted permission to issue manual fards and non-computerised settlements for three months, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The Board of Revenue has issued a notification regarding issuance of fards in manual settlements.

Along with this, it will also be necessary to get the records computerized within three months.

Permission has been granted to continue issuing land transfer records in non-computerized settlements.

Land transfer records in computerized settlements will be issued under the new procedure of Punjab Land Revenue Authority (PLRA).

Copy of revenue records in manual settlements will be issued as per Rule 36, Sub Rule A2.

PLRA will introduce a new system of digital verification of land transfer records.

Digital verification system will be linked to e-registration system.

It is directed to complete digitization of all non-computerized settlements in three months.

On completion of digitization, issuance of green property certificates will be made possible without interruption.

The Board of Revenue has directed all Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners and concerned Officers to implement the notification.
