Two women were killed in a road accident on the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Ferozewala Police Station.
A spokesman for the Motorway Police Central Region said that an unidentified vehicle hit the women.
Soon after receiving the report, Motorway Police personnel rushed to the spot and shifted both critically injured women to the hospital, where they breathed their last.
The spokesman of the motorway said that a Sector Commander of Motorway Police visited the family of the deceased women and assured them of his full support.
Police completed all the formalities as per the rules and regulations.
