In an intelligence-based operation, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), in collaboration with a federal agency, has arrested two members of outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to reports, both men were arrested while they were receiving funds.
Two injured in firing incidents
Meanwhile, 25-year-old Asadullah was injured when unidentified persons opened fire at him near Landhi’s double road on Tuesday night.
Similarly, 30-year-old Ahsan Masood was injured when he offered resistance to dacoits Power House Chowrangi.
Police said both the injured were shifted to hospital while further investigation was underway.
