After an increase in the price of crude oil in international market, the government is considering to hike the prices of petrol and diesel with effect from June 16, 2025, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Sources said that price of high-speed diesel (HSD) is likely to be increased by Rs5.27 per liter.
After approval, the price of one liter of diesel will be increased from Rs254.64 to Rs259.91.
One-liter petrol will be sold in Rs254.75 instead of Rs253.63. Price of kerosene will be increased by Rs4.16, and price of light diesel will be enhanced by Rs4.13.
The new prices will be implemented from June 16, 2025.
