Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal has reignited controversy surrounding her ongoing dispute with PML-N politician Saqib Khan Chadhar, sharing a series of Instagram Stories in which she made fresh allegations, referenced cases linked to the lawmaker and claimed that more revelations are yet to emerge.
The actress, who has previously spoken about a cyber harassment case and other allegations against Chadhar, spent hours posting screenshots, media reports, personal statements and messages on social media.
Through the posts, Momina maintained that many facts connected to the matter have not yet been made public and warned that she is prepared to reveal more information if necessary.
In one of her Stories, Momina reshared a viral news post referring to allegations involving bounced cheques worth Rs270 million. Reacting to the report, she questioned claims that she had received large sums of money and argued that such allegations had never been proven.
The actress also alleged that she endured years of blackmail, threats, and severe mental distress. According to Momina, the situation affected her deeply and made daily life extremely difficult. She further claimed that her decision to pursue legal action was based on concerns she says emerged during that period.
Continuing her criticism, Momina accused both Saqib Chadhar and his wife, Sumaira Khan, of wrongdoing and claimed that more information would eventually come to light. She suggested that several aspects of the controversy remain hidden from public view and would be revealed in due course.
In another Story, Momina reshared a news graphic reporting that three cases had allegedly been registered against Saqib Chadhar in connection with an alleged fraud case involving a cancer patient. Commenting on the report, she wrote that “Allah’s justice works silently,” while suggesting that more developments could still emerge.
The actress also publicly shared screenshots of messages she claimed were connected to individuals associated with Chadhar’s circle. In one Story, she responded directly to a critical message she had received, questioning why certain people continued targeting her and warning that she was prepared to speak openly if the attacks continued.
In another post, Momina shared screenshots of a private conversation allegedly involving an individual named Shoaib Khan Chadhar. Through her caption, she questioned the nature of the conversation and hinted that she could disclose additional details if necessary. The actress appeared to suggest that people publicly criticizing her were behaving differently behind the scenes.
Momina further issued a stern warning to those she says have been contacting her and her family. She urged them to stop calling, messaging, or involving her relatives in the dispute. Stressing that she has so far remained within legal boundaries, the actress warned that she could present more information publicly if pushed further.
Referring to evidence she says has already been submitted to authorities, Momina claimed that additional material linked to the case exists and maintained that further disclosures could change how the public views the controversy.
The actress also reshared supportive messages from followers who backed her stance and encouraged her to continue speaking out. Several supporters praised her for refusing to remain silent and expressed hope that the legal process would ultimately reveal the truth.
While Momina continues to share her version of events through social media, the allegations remain part of an ongoing legal dispute.
