The much-anticipated clash between Pakistan and India in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will take place today (June 14) at Edgbaston in Birmingham, with both sides looking to make a strong start to their campaigns.
The match is scheduled to begin at 6:30pm Pakistan Standard Time, which corresponds to 7:00pm Indian Standard Time and 2:30pm local time in the United Kingdom.
The contest marks the beginning of Pakistan’s journey in the largest edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup to date.
Organised by the England and Wales Cricket Board, the tournament is being held from June 12 to July 5 and features an expanded format for the first time, with 12 teams competing for the title.
A total of 33 matches will be played across seven venues in England, while the final is set to be staged at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground on July 5.
