Pakistan Democratic Movement President Fazlur Rehman has reiterated the joint opposition’s resolve to hold the anti-government march in the federal capital, 24NewsHD TV channel reported late on Monday.
Addressing the media after a dinner hosted by Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif, the JUI chief threatened to go for tit-for-tat if the government uses force against the peaceful protesters.
The premier and his cronies showed their colours by police action against Ansarul Islam at Parliament lodges a couple of days ago.
Members are being threatened to stop coming to the assembly for no-confidence motion proceedings, he said, adding that such threats matter nothing to them. He also invited PPP and ANP to join the march.
He said he issued directives to his supporters and followers to start to march to the federal capital on 23rd. "We are going to do a lot, we will not be intimidated," he said, adding that the Prime Minister and his government have taken the path of violating the constitution and corruption.
