Inspector General (IG) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has been appointed as the head of the National Police Foundation Pakistan, adding another key responsibility to his portfolio.
He will now oversee both the Islamabad Police and the National Police Foundation simultaneously.
Rizvi has officially taken charge of his new role and has begun working on initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of police personnel across the country.
Under his leadership, the foundation is set to introduce new projects dedicated to the well-being of police martyrs' families, veterans, and serving officers.
The appointment marks the beginning of a new era for the National Police Foundation, with plans to modernize its operations and align them with contemporary policing needs.
IG Rizvi, who has previously launched several advanced technology projects within Islamabad Police, is expected to bring similar innovations to the foundation, ensuring that it meets the evolving requirements of law enforcement in Pakistan.
