Five including four brothers killed in clash in Quetta

Five people including four brothers were killed in a clash between two groups over a petty dispute in Quetta, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday. 

According to the reports, fifteen other people including one woman were also injured in the fierce gun battle clash that occurred between two neighbors in Kechi Beg, Gahi Khan Chowk at Sariab Road, Quetta. Both the rival groups are from the same family.  

According to police, two groups of the Lehrri tribe exchanged harsh words over the construction of a building nearby in Gahi Khan Chowk. The clash of words later on entered in exchange of fire which resulted in the death of four real brothers while eight others including the victim’s mother, father, and grandfather were also injured. One young man from the other group was also killed, and six others got bullet injuries. The police said the injured persons of the second group also include three brothers. The police and rescue agency reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies and injured to Civil Hospital.  

The deceased brothers are identified as Ghulam Farooq, Mohammad Din, Muhammad Hanif, and Nasrullah Lahiri. 

The people included among the injured are Abdul Waheed Ahmad Din, Babul, Haji Shahnawaz, Jalal, Muzmal, Sher Muhammad, and a woman.

Quetta police have cordoned off the area and started an investigation.
