Secretary Interior Muhammad Khurram Agha on Thursday ordered a complete and transparent investigation into incidents of paper leakages during the Cambridge exams, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He was chairing a high-level meeting in the Ministry of Interior.
Officials of the Ministry of Education, British Council and the University of Cambridge attended the meeting.
The secretary directed the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) DG to probe the incidents in collaboration with Cambridge officials.
The meeting reviewed in detail the reservations of students as well as their parents over the leakage of O level mathematics paper.
The UK’s high commissioner was of the view that the incidents appeared to be of papers stolen, rather than papers leaked.
The University of Cambridge officials, on the occasion, assured that they would ensure transparency in the exams and that remove flaws and weaknesses in the examination system.
