The lawmakers in Punjab Assembly on Monday adopted a resolution which condemned the assassination attempt on PTI chief and former prime minister Imran Khan and torture and arrest of PTI Senator Azam Swati, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Raja Basharat tabled the resolution in the House which says the ‘imported’ government was behind attack on Imran Khan in Wazirabad and arrest of Azam Swati.
The resolution calls on the Chief Justice of Pakistan to constitute a judicial commission for investigating these two incidents.
The Supreme Court should punish the culprits after holding legal proceedings into the two incidents.
