Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a high-level inter-ministerial meeting to review various aspects of Pakistan’s trade enhancement strategy and economic diplomacy.
The meeting was attended by SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, Secretaries of Commerce and Human Rights, along with senior officials from relevant ministries.
The DPM/FM instructed all stakeholders to finalize preparations for the upcoming EU GSP+ Monitoring Mission to Pakistan.
He emphasized that GSP+ remains a win-win framework for both Pakistan and the EU, and reiterated that strengthening Pakistan’s trade and economic diplomacy is a key priority of the country’s foreign policy.
