Pakistan have secured their place in the Men's FIH Hockey World Cup qualifying round after a series win against Bangladesh, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.
The national side delivered a commanding performance throughout the two-match series, completing a clean sweep to confirm their qualification.
In the second match, Pakistan overpowered Bangladesh with a resounding 8–0 victory.
Sufyan Khan and Rana Waheed led the charge with two goals each, while Rana Waleed, Hannan Shahid, Afraz Khan, and Imad Butt added one goal apiece to complete the rout.
With the win, Pakistan sealed an unassailable 2–0 series lead.
Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) President Tariq Bugti and Secretary Rana Mujahid Ali congratulated the national team on their impressive performance and the successful series triumph.
