A groom mysteriously disappeared from Madina Colony, Korangi, on the day of his wedding, sparking fears of kidnapping, 24NewsHDTV channel reported on Sunday.
The incident came to light when the groom, who had gone to a salon for preparation at 6 pm, failed to arrive at his destination.
His father, Waseem, lodged a complaint at Zaman Town Police Station, stating that the wedding party was scheduled to depart on September 11, 2025.
According to the father, the groom’s brother revealed that he had left his mobile phone at home around 5 pm.
Later, at 7:30 pm, the family received a call from the salon, informing them that the groom never showed up.
Fearing foul play, the groom’s father expressed concern that unknown persons might have kidnapped his son.
Police have registered a case and launched a search operation to trace the missing groom.
