Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal on Monday visited the newly-constructed 200-bed emergency ward at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad and directed to operationalize it within 24 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During his visit, Mustafa Kamal reviewed all the ongoing and completed work in the new emergency ward.
The Executive Director of PIMS briefed the Federal Minister for Health regarding the operational preparedness of the management.
He directed that all the pending work be completed within 24 hours and reviewed the medical facilities available in the emergency ward.
The minister directed doctors and paramedical staff to interact with patients with sympathy and humanity.
