Saife Hassan has given fans a major update on the long-awaited Netflix series Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo, revealing that the project has completed its post-production and is now waiting for Netflix to announce its official release date.
Saife Hassan, who is also part of the series as an actor, revealed that his acting role is relatively small. His main responsibility on the project was behind the camera, where he worked as the head of post-production.
Speaking about the series, Saife said that the drama was completed some time ago and the team is now simply waiting for Netflix to provide the final date. He explained that once Netflix confirms the schedule, the series will be ready to begin its global release.
Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo has been one of the most anticipated Pakistani projects since its announcement, mainly because of its impressive cast. The series features Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Sanam Saeed, Ahad Raza Mir, Hania Aamir, Iqra Aziz, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Maya Ali, Bilal Ashraf and Khushhal Khan.
The series is based on Farhat Ishtiaq’s bestselling Urdu novel of the same name. The story follows Sikandar, a Harvard law student struggling with emotional trauma, and Liza, an artist dealing with her own difficult past. Their lives become intertwined after they meet in Italy, leading them towards a journey of love, healing and self-discovery.
The project was filmed in Italy, the United Kingdom and Pakistan, giving the adaptation an international setting. It is being produced under Momina Duraid’s banner and marks a major move for Pakistani entertainment on the global streaming platform.
The series was initially expected to arrive earlier, but its release was delayed as the production went through post-production. Recent reports have suggested a late-2026 release, although Netflix has not yet announced an exact premiere date.
