Shikarpur Police claimed to have secured the release of two girls who were abducted four years ago.
Shikarpur SSP Kamran Nawaz assigned the task to a special squad that recovered them from Jamshoro. Police will produce them to the Supreme Court Karachi Registry on April 27.
On December 23, 2020, the Supreme Court scolded the police for their failure to recover the kidnapped girls – Kulsoom and Saadia. A citizen approached the court that directed the SSP to recover the girls within two months.
