The weekly inflation rate has witnessed a decrease of 0.68 per cent, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The weekly inflation rate has been recorded by 16.44 per cent, while the inflation rate for the individuals with the lowest income remained at 17.15 per cent.
As per bureau of statistics, the price of cigarette has been increased by Rs4.56, while the price of eggs per dozen has been increased by Rs2.78.
The price of Dal Masoor per kg has been increased by Rs2.50, while the prices of mutton per kg and chicken per kg have been increased by Rs12 and Rs1.50, respectively.
The prices of Dal Chana per kg and Dal Mash per kg have been increased by Rs0.50 and Rs0.73.
The price of Dal Moong has been increased by Rs10 per kg.
The prices of yoghurt, powdered milk and fresh milk have also been increased.
Within the week, the price of tomatoes, onions and potatoes have been decreased.
The price of tomatoes has been decreased by Rs0.52 per kg, while the prices of onions and potatoes have also been decreased by Rs5.28 and Rs1.38, respectively.
As per the Bureau of Statistics, the price of bananas per dozen has been dropped by Rs3, while the prices of garlic and bag of flour have been decreased by Rs12 and Rs3.84, respectively.
Within the week, 17 commodities have witnessed a surge in prices, while the prices of 24 necessary food items remained stable.
