More rain, thunderstorm predicted in country

More rain coupled with windstorm and thunderstorm is likely in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Islamabad, Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and upper/southwestern Balochistan during the next 12 hours.

Heavy falls and hailstorm are also likely at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, upper Balochistan and Pothohar region. Snowfall is also likely over mountains in northern areas.

Following are the temperatures of major cities recorded Monday morning:

Islamabad 17 degree centigrade, Lahore 20, Karachi 24, Peshawar 16, Quetta 10, Gilgit 13, Murree seven and Muzaffarabad 14 degree centigrade.

According to weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy weather and intermittent rain with wind and thunderstorm is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula.

While, cloudy and rain with thunderstorm in Leh.

Temperature recorded this morning:

Srinagar, Anantnag and Shopian seven degree centigrade, Jammu 20, Leh six, Pulwama and Baramula eight degree centigrade.
