The Federal Constitutional Court, in a landmark judgment, has restored the inheritance rights of children who predeceased their father, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

In its decision of a 58 years old case, the court ordered the redistribution of the property of the late Abdullah Khan.

According to the court, during the hearing on April 8, the long-running inheritance dispute since 1968 was reviewed, in which it was said that no heir can be deprived of his right on mere technical grounds.

The court ruled that in the present case, it is accepted that Sardar Begum was the daughter of the late Abdullah Khan, however, her heirs were not included in the process of inheritance distribution.
