The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan has carried out a major operation against illegal encroachments, retrieving government land worth more than Rs1.41 trillion, in what has been described as a historic achievement.
According to details, NAB Balochistan retrieved approximately 1.02 million acres of state land during 2025. The operation continued into early 2026, with more than 51,000 acres retrieved from the encroachment mafia, bringing the total retrieved land to around 1.07 million acres.
Officials termed the large-scale retrieval a significant milestone, noting that the reclaimed land will greatly benefit the national exchequer. NAB Balochistan emphasized that its indiscriminate actions against illegal encroachments are part of a broader effort to safeguard state assets.
The bureau stated that the accountability process will help strengthen public trust, reiterating its commitment to eliminating corruption and promoting transparency. It also announced plans to further intensify operations in order to ensure continued protection of government property.
