The Pakistan Cricket Board hosted a special ceremony in honour of Pakistan Super League franchises, team owners and management, bringing together national and international players alongside match officials, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
The event, organised under the chairmanship of PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi, saw informal interactions with players and stakeholders, who collectively reiterated their commitment to the continued success of the league.
During the gathering, Mohsin Naqvi welcomed franchise representatives and guests, thanking them individually and extending best wishes to all participating teams.
He stated that the players are the real heroes of PSL 11 and expressed gratitude to foreign players for travelling to Pakistan and taking part in the tournament.
The ceremony was attended by provincial ministers and senior officials, including the Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency and PCB Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer.
Prominent cricket personalities such as Wasim Akram, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Misbah-ul-Haq and Sarfaraz Ahmed also attended the event.
Players and franchise representatives thanked the PCB chairman for organising the ceremony, appreciating the efforts to recognise their contributions and promote the league.
The event concluded with renewed pledges from all stakeholders to continue supporting and strengthening Pakistan’s premier T20 cricket competition.
