TikToker doctor Fazeela Abbasi has landed in serious legal trouble as a Special Central Court hears allegations of money laundering and running an illegal clinic.
In a hearing at the Special Central Court, Judge Humayun Dilawar extended her interim bail until April 20, giving her temporary relief as the high-profile case continues to unfold, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
The court also ordered that she cannot be arrested until then and directed her to fully cooperate with the investigation.
The case has taken another twist as Fazeela filed a request to reopen a joint bank account with her brother, actor Hamza Ali Abbasi, which has been sealed by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) as part of the ongoing probe.
According to prosecutors, Fazeela submitted a written response but did not appear in person during the hearing, while her lawyer Naeem Bukhari argued that there has been no misuse of bail despite months of proceedings.
Meanwhile, the FIA has already submitted its challan in the money laundering case, confirming that two separate cases have been registered against her.
With the court tightening its directives and the investigation deepening, all eyes are now on April 20, a date that could prove decisive in this high-profile case.
