A delegation of key politicians of Afghanistan has arrived in Islamabad, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
Wolesi Jirga Speaker Mir Rehman Rahmani, Afghanistan ex-VP Mohammad Yunus Qanooni, Ustad M Karim, Ahmad Zia Masud, Ahmad Wali Masaud, Abdul Latif, Ustad Mohammad Mohaqiq and Khalid Noor are the members of the visiting team.
Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan Mohammad Sadiq received the Afghan delegation, which comprised non-Pashtun leaders. The visiting dignitaries will hold dialogue with the leadership of Pakistan in their three-day stay in wake of rapid changes in Afghanistan.
The special envoy took Twitter to post the arrival of Afghans. Matters of mutual interest will be discussed during the Afghan political leadership's visit, he tweeted.
