Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif Friday telephoned Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to express deep sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the province and to offer full support in the wake of recent tragedies.
Maryam Nawaz conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the incidents and also mourned the martyrs of the rescue helicopter crash.
She assured that “all the resources of the Punjab government are at the disposal of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and its people in this hour of difficulty,” adding that the people of Punjab share in the grief of their brothers and sisters in KP.
The Punjab CM also extended condolences on behalf of Pakistan Muslim League-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to the families of the martyrs.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur thanked Maryam Nawaz for her call, sympathy, and assurance of complete support for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
