Punjab cabinet has decided to build 6 underground parking plazas in Lahore's walled city’s various areas, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
The plazas will be built in Mochi Gate, Sheranwala Gate and Taxali Gate, Delhi Gate, Bhatti Gate and Shah Alam Gate. The parking plazas will cost Rs 31.5 billion to national kitty.
The parking plaza in Mochi Gate will cost Rs 5.2 billion, the plaza in Sheranwala will cost around Rs 8 billion, Taxali Gate plaza will cost Rs 5.2 billion, plaza in Delhi Gate will cost Rs 6 billion, Bhati Gate plaza will cost Rs 2 billion and Shah Alam Gate parking plaza will Rs 5.2 billion.
The civilians will be relieved from the parking issues after the completion of these projects. All of these plazas will be built by the C&W department.
