Two sisters died after being electrocuted while playing inside their home in Toba Tek Singh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The incident occurred in Chak No. 289-GB when both sisters suffered severe electric shocks from a ceiling fan in their home.
Both deceased were identified as Eiman Fatima, who was seven years old, and Dua Fatima, who was four years old.
Soon after receiving the report, the Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies of the girls to a local hospital.
It is necessary to mention here that in August 2024, three persons were electrocuted while others were injured while erecting a tent in Toba Tek Singh.
The incident occurred when an iron rod came into contact with a live wire while erecting a tent at Sasta Bazaar in Pir Mahal near Toba Tek Singh
The incident took place at the city’s main bazaar. The deceased were identified as Zafar, Babar and Bashir.
