Pakistani actress Nadia Afgan has once again used her social media platform to speak against animal cruelty, urging parents to teach their children compassion and respect after a disturbing video showed a group of youngsters harassing a frightened stray dog.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Nadia reshared a viral clip that captured several neighbourhood children surrounding the animal on a street. Armed with sticks, Independence Day toys and noisemakers, the children could be seen teasing, cornering and intimidating the visibly distressed dog.

Reacting strongly to the footage, Nadia directed her criticism toward the children's upbringing, stressing that kindness toward animals should be taught from an early age.

“Apnay bacho tameez sikhayen, rehem dili sikhayen, warna doob k mar jayen,” she wrote.

The actress's message translates to: “Teach your children manners. Teach them kindness and empathy. Otherwise, drown yourselves in shame.”

Nadia's reaction highlights a broader concern surrounding the treatment of stray animals, which are frequently subjected to teasing, chasing and physical abuse. Such encounters can leave animals frightened and defensive, potentially resulting in aggressive reactions when they feel threatened.

The actress has frequently used her social media presence to raise her voice against animal cruelty and advocate for more humane treatment of stray animals. Through her latest post, she has once again emphasized that compassion is a value that begins at home, with parents playing a crucial role in teaching children how to treat vulnerable beings with care and responsibility.
