Wearing of helmets has also been made mandatory for Chingchi and loader rickshaw drivers in provincial capital.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore has issued orders that Chingchi and loader rickshaw drivers will also wear helmets for safety purposes otherwise they will face fine from Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
CTO Dr. Athar Waheed made it clear that from now on ward drivers of Chingchi and loader rickshaws will be challaned for not wearing helmets.
He said the process of distributing free helmets to Chingchi and loader rickshaw drivers will also be started soon.
