Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor has shared exciting updates about his upcoming films during an Instagram “Ask Me Anything” session.
The discussion focused on his much-anticipated project Ramayana: Part 1, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari, as well as other major releases in his pipeline.
During the live session for his brand ARKS, a fan pointed out that Ramayana is scheduled to reach audiences in November 2026, coinciding with the birthday month of Ranbir and Alia’s daughter, Raha, who was born on November 6, 2022.
Ranbir called it a “beautiful coincidence”, sharing a heartwarming family moment that was later captured in images shared by Indian media.
The film, which has already generated massive buzz, is officially slated for a Diwali 2026 release, making it a highly anticipated holiday blockbuster. Ranbir, who portrays the iconic role of Lord Ram, is joined by a star-studded cast including Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana, promising a cinematic spectacle that blends mythology with modern storytelling.
During the session, Ranbir also addressed the release schedule of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. He confirmed that the project has been postponed to ensure both major films have adequate spacing, avoiding clashes and giving each film the attention it deserves at the box office.
With its release coinciding with his daughter’s birthday month, Ramayana: Part 1 is set to become one of the most talked-about films of 2026, merging personal milestones with cinematic anticipation.
