Mansoor Ali Shah, who had resigned as the Supreme Court (SC) judge, has resumed legal practice and rejoined teaching profession, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Sources told the 24News TV channel that Mansoor had joined two law schools of international repute as an honorary teacher, and he planned to teach there for two years.
They informed that Mansoor was presently serving at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) as a professor of practice, and taught law and constitutional matters at the institution.
In a message shared on social media, the former SC judge said that after stepping down, he has restarted his legal career. He added that his work will now focus on international and domestic arbitration as well as strategic legal advisory services.
Shah further stated that he will take up teaching responsibilities at Yale Law School in 2026 and at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School in 2027. He also noted that he is available for appointments as an arbitrator and mediator.
He emphasized that his commitment to the rule of law, the Constitution, integrity, and transparency will remain steadfast.
