Gold prices witnessed a notable decline in the local market on Thursday, as the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs3,700 to settle at Rs482,462.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs3,172 to Rs413,633, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell by Rs2,908 to Rs379,177.
Silver prices also recorded a downward trend, with 24-karat silver per tola declining by Rs150 to Rs9,425, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs129 to Rs8,080.
In the international market, gold prices fell by $37 to $4,601 per ounce, whereas silver prices declined by $1.50 to $89.50 per ounce, the association reported.
