Station House Officer (SHO) was gunned down in Sargodha when Sub Inspector Amir Rizwan reached a site while responding to 15 call regarding aerial firing incident in Kot Momin in Laksian police station’s limits, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
According to spokesperson of Punjab police, when SHO reached the site, criminals opened fire at him and got him critically injured. The SHO was rushed to Sargodha DHQ Hospital but succumbed to injures.
The criminals escaped from the site. Inspector General of Punjab Police has taken notice of the murder of SHO and has sought detailed report from DPO Sargodha. IGP Usman Anwar has ordered quick arrest of the criminals.
