Six flights cancelled at Karachi Airport

Six flights were cancelled at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport on Thursday due to different technical and operational reasons, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Air China’s Beijing-bound flight CA-946; AirSial’s Karachi to Islamabad flight, PF-123; the airline’s flight from Karachi to Lahore, PF-145; Airblue’s Islamabad-bound flight, PA-206 and Airblue’s Lahore-bound flight, PA-404, were all cancelled.

On Wednesday, 24News TV channel reported that dense fog in and around Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport had led to the cancellation of five incoming and outgoing flights while six flights were delayed for hours.

Two Jeddah-bound flights of Saudi Airline, SV-738 and SV-739, were cancelled.

Airblue’s flight, PA-410, heading from Lahore to Dubai, and the airline’s another flight, PA-411, heading from Dubai to Lahore; were cancelled.

Similarly, EY-284, Etihad Airways flight from Abu Dhabi to Lahore, was cancelled as well.

Likewise, Airblue’s flight, PA-473, heading from Jeddah to Lahore, was delayed by four hours and 15 minutes, while Saudi Airline’s flight, SV-734, also heading from Jeddah to Lahore, was delayed by one hour and 20 minutes.

Five flights were cancelled at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport due to different reasons.

Oman Air’s Muscat-bound flight, WY-324; two flights of AirSial, from Karachi to Lahore, PF-145 and PF-141; AirSial’s Karachi to Islamabad flight, PF-123 and PIA’s Karachi to Lahore flight, PK-306 were all cancelled.
