Long queues of vehicles formed at M-tag centers in Islamabad due to last day of the deadline given by the Interior Minister Mosin Naqvi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
A total of more than 150,000 vehicles were tagged at 16 centers while tags were issued to 2,965 vehicles in the last 24 hours and the deadline for M-tags will end tonight.
In this regard, Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Irfan Memon said after the deadline ends, action will be taken against vehicles without M-tags.
He said readers have been installed at 12 entry points and checkpoints of the city for vehicles without M-tags.
Irfan Memon said citizens are requested to install M-tags on their vehicles at all costs.
