Pakistani gold market continued a trend of skyrocketing the rates of yellow metals second consecutive day on Friday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the gold price in the Pakistani market increased by 10,500 per tola in just two days.
The channel reported that the price of the 24 karats of pure gold on Friday increased by Rs6,500 per tola and Rs5,574 per 10 grams to settle at Rs214,500 per tola and Rs1,83,900 per 10 grams respectively.
Yesterday, the price of 24 karats of pure gold was increased by Rs4,000 per tola and Rs3.429 per 10 grams to settle at Rs208,000 per tola and Rs178,326 per 10 grams respectively.
The price of 10 grams of gold of 22 karats on Friday traded in the local market at Rs1,68,574 per 10 grams.
It is worth mentioning that the gold rates in the international market were not changed and traded at $1,959 per ounce on Friday but the Pakistani market observed soaring in prices.
Meanwhile, the price of pure silver of 24 karats increased by Rs50 per tola to Rs2,650 per tola in the Pakistani market while the price of 10 grams of silver increased by Rs42.86 to Rs2,271.94 per 10 grams.
