The sit-in by Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) at Faizabad—a central point of Islamabad and Rawalpindi—has entered its third day, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Monday.

The traffic police have announced alternative routes by setting up diversions for the heavy and regular traffic on the roads to ease travel.

According to the announced traffic plan, to avoid long queues, traffic from Murree Road Rawalpindi to Faizabad will use 9th Avenue and Srinagar Highway, while traffic from Koral to Expressway Zero Point will use Khanna Pul via Lehtrar Road, Park Road, and Rawal Dam Chowk to Murree Road.

Traffic from Rawal Road to the Expressway will use the Margalla Town service road, while the residents of Islamabad sectors F-8, F-9, G-9, G-10, F-10, G-11, and F-11 heading to Rawalpindi can use the Srinagar Highway via Golra Mor.

Heavy traffic from Lahore is being diverted to Rawalpindi from the Rawat T-cross, and heavy traffic from Peshawar GT Road is being diverted to the motorway and Rawalpindi from the 26-Number Chungi.

Traffic from Murree is being diverted from Rawal Dam Chowk to Park Road, Lehtrar Road, and the Islamabad Expressway.
