The Rawalpindi Special Anti-Terrorism Court has rejected the interim bails of the Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, Omar Ayub, in more than 14 cases related to the November 26 and 24 riots.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, after the bail was rejected, the court issued an arrest warrant for Omar Ayub on Tuesday.
The Special Anti-Terrorism Court rejected the interim bail in more than 14 cases due to the non-compliance of Omar Ayub and his counsel.
Omar Ayub had filed interim bail applications in the above cases through his lawyer, Dr Babar Awan.
The hearing was conducted by Judge Amjad Ali Shah of the Special Anti-Terrorism Court.
