Pakistan Railways has announced the relaunch of the Pak Business Express with upgraded, modern facilities aimed at enhancing passenger comfort, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Tuesday.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to inaugurate the revamped service on July 19 at the Lahore Railway Station.
The Pak Business Train, which operates between Karachi and Lahore, has undergone significant modernisation.
According to sources, the upgraded train will now feature complimentary Wi-Fi services and a dining car equipped with international-standard amenities.
Railway officials said the initiative is part of broader efforts to modernise rail travel in Pakistan. However, sources also confirmed that fares for the revamped Business Express will be increased due to the enhanced onboard services and complimentary offerings.
